What are UCAS points?
The UCAS Tariff is the points system the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service uses to compare qualifications for university entry. Not every university quotes offers in points — many prefer grades — but Tariff points remain the standard way to compare a mixed portfolio (for example, three A-Levels plus an EPQ plus a grade-5 ABRSM distinction).
