Check syllabus gaps by pairing each topic with evidence: a question you solved, an explanation you wrote or a timed section you attempted. “Covered” records exposure; it does not tell you whether you can use the topic independently.
You have watched the videos, attended tuition and ticked most chapters. The progress bar feels reassuring until a mixed paper asks you to combine two ideas you studied weeks apart.
Give each topic a more useful status
Try four labels: not started, studied with support, attempted independently and needs another check. These are working labels for your own review, not permanent judgements of ability.
For every “attempted independently” topic, keep one example and its date. A single correct question does not establish mastery, but it is more informative than a tick based on finishing a video. Include written responses when your exam requires them; MCQ accuracy alone cannot show the quality of a long explanation.
How Prep and Exam HQ fit together
Gyanis Flow Prep brings Drills, Express and Arena into one practice area. Exam HQ lets you choose an available exam from the catalogue associated with your academic country, set a target sitting and review available syllabus coverage and readiness evidence.
Check the catalogue before building your plan. A country-specific marketing page does not change your academic profile, and it does not mean every exam is available. Compare the displayed syllabus with your current official course requirements.
Use the right check for the uncertainty
- “I recognise it but cannot choose the answer.” Try relevant Drills questions and inspect your reasoning.
- “I know the idea but lose marks explaining it.” Write an answer and use Express feedback as a starting point for review.
- “I can do chapters separately but struggle under time.” Use an available Arena paper to practise the combined task.
Do not spend the whole evening collecting scores. Choose one weak area, work on it, and set a later check. The point of the evidence is to change what you study next.
A practical Sunday review
Pick three topics: one recent, one older and one you tend to avoid. Attempt a small sample without notes. Write down what the attempts reveal, then decide which task belongs in the next week’s Gameplan. Leave time for school assignments and rest rather than treating every uncovered topic as an emergency.
In a family discussion, show the evidence and next step instead of arguing over hours studied. “I need practice explaining electrolysis” is a clearer request than “I am behind in chemistry.”
Frequently asked questions
Does Exam HQ readiness predict my final grade?
No. It summarises available study evidence and supports planning; it is not a guaranteed result.
What if my exam is not listed?
Use available topic practice where relevant and retain your official syllabus as the planning reference.
Explore Prep and Exam HQ and replace one vague completion tick with a concrete learning check.
