Corrections Policy
If we get something wrong, we want to know, and we want to fix it in a way that is clear and traceable. This page documents how we handle errors across Gyanis editorial content.
How to report an error
Email corrections@gyanis.ai with the URL of the page, a short description of the error, and a source if you have one. You can also use the contact form at /contact-us.
How quickly we respond
- Fact errors (numbers, dates, names, quotes): corrected within 48 hours of confirmation.
- Interpretation errors: reviewed within 5 working days; corrected or defended with an explanatory note.
- Product or pricing claims: hotfixed as soon as confirmed; an update note is added to the page.
How we disclose corrections
When we correct an article, we update the body of the article AND append a dated correction note at the bottom. If the original text was materially misleading, we keep the original sentence in strikethrough alongside the corrected one so readers can see what changed.
Retractions
If an article is fundamentally wrong, we retract it. Retracted URLs remain live with a clear retraction notice; we do not quietly delete pages.
Regulatory obligations
Some markets require specific correction formats for regulated content (for example, UK Ofcom rules for online health information). We comply with the strictest applicable standard in the user's country.
