About Us

What Gyanis is, who built it, and the system we run. Specific tools, specific numbers, and the four pillars a student touches every day.

The study system that takes the guesswork out.

10,000+ students across Malaysian Education System use Gyanis today. They stop juggling seven tabs, five PDFs, and a group chat, and start working from one screen that knows their board, their class, and the topic they got wrong yesterday.

We built Gyanis for the student preparing for SPM, STPM, IGCSE & PT3. The product covers four things a student actually does in a week: study, practice, ask for help, and book a coach. Each of those sits inside one of four pillars, tied to one credit balance.

Headquartered in Sharjah, UAE with operations serving Malaysian students. We run pilots and free AI literacy workshops in schools, then refine the product based on what classrooms told us did not work.

Our Vision

Every student, in every board and every city, should walk into an exam with a plan, a practice set, and a coach they can book by name. Not a feed. A system.

Our Mission

Build a study OS that answers four questions for a student every day: what do I study now, where did I slip yesterday, who do I talk to when I am stuck, and what does my progress look like on paper. No guessing. No parallel apps.

Flow. The study workspace.

Flow is the home screen. Five tools, one layout. 379 GC a month during the launch window.

What is inside:

  • Chat. Ask a doubt, paste a problem, or request a worked example. Answers pitched at your class, pulled from the SPM, STPM, IGCSE syllabus.
  • Mindmap. A visual tree of any topic, generated in under ten seconds. Each node carries a three-line summary you can skim the night before.
  • Drill. MCQs tagged by board, class, subject, unit, and topic. Difficulty moves up after two correct in a row and down when you slip.
  • Gameplan. Every topic carries one of four labels: Mission, Battle, Conquered, or Replay. Full tests stay locked until you clear the topics they cover.
  • Moodboard. Pin formulas, tricky questions, and mnemonics in one place. Review on the bus without opening a chapter.
  • Pulse. Time on task by day, accuracy by topic, predicted score against your target. The same view is shared with your parent and your teacher.

A week inside Flow:

Day 3. The student stops asking the group chat and starts drilling the topic they got wrong on Monday.

Day 5. Gameplan moves one topic from Mission to Battle and another from Battle to Conquered.

Day 7. Pulse shows where the hour went and where it did not. Parent and teacher see the same page.

Why schools use it:

Class-level rollouts, guardian consent built in, and one dashboard per cohort. Teachers stop building worksheets and start teaching.

Aura. A coach you can book by name.

When a student needs a human, Aura is a directory of verified coaches they can book in a few taps. Per-session pricing, quoted before confirm.

How it works:
  • Directory. Filter by specialisation, language, and availability. Read a short profile before you book.
  • Session. A 60-minute video appointment with private notes the student and coach can revisit.
  • Safeguards. Parental visibility for minors, school-friendly workflows, clear session boundaries.
  • Credibility. All psychologists on Gyanis Aura are registered professionals with experience in student wellness and academic counselling.
Why parents and schools trust it:

Transparent pricing, a named coach, and a takeaway that tells the student what to try before the next session.

Vibe. Ask an Expert when a human teacher would help most.

Vibe today is Ask an Expert: a 30-minute video session with a verified subject teacher, priced per session and quoted before the student confirms. Every charge shows up in the wallet history.

What Vibe does today:
  • Ask an Expert. Browse verified teachers by subject, language, and availability. Book a session, see the price up front, and end with a written takeaway the student keeps.
  • Pulse.Every Ask an Expert session ends with notes that flow back into the student's Pulse view, so the next session starts where this one ended.
Coming in 2026 Coming 2026:
  • Buddy. A 60-second pep talk, a focus check-in, a short reset before a practice test.
  • Tutor.Talk through a tough topic out loud. The voice tutor adapts to the student's pace.
  • Listen. Screen-free audio lessons for the commute or the walk after dinner.
  • Pods. Bite-sized audio on concepts and exam tactics, built in English, Bahasa Melayu.
Why students reach for Vibe:

A real human teacher, on demand, with a clear price. Less friction than scrolling threads, more momentum than another textbook.

One wallet across everything.

Gyanis Credits (GC) is one balance for Flow, Vibe, Aura, and OneByZero. You load once, and the same credits buy a Flow subscription, a minute on Vibe, a coach session on Aura, or an item on OneByZero.

  • Flow costs 379 GC per month during the launch window. Vibe Ask an Expert is priced per session and quoted before you confirm. Aura is also per session, quoted up front. Voice tutoring is on the 2026 roadmap.
  • OneByZero charges a small platform fee per order. Payout to the seller happens after delivery confirmation, with a 48-hour claim window on every order.
  • Earn credits through progress, ambassador programmes, and school workshops. No forced subscriptions.
  • Parent visibility on balance and spend, without micromanagement.

One balance, four products, and a refund policy stated up front: no-show gets a full refund, cancel more than 24 hours ahead gets a full refund minus a 5% platform fee, cancel within 24 hours gets half back.

What is different about Gyanis

  1. Calibrated to the student. Every question, every mindmap, every drill is tagged to your board, your class, and the topic you last got wrong.
  2. Four pillars, one wallet. Flow, Aura, Vibe, and OneByZero share the same GC balance. No separate subscriptions to juggle.
  3. Numbers, not vibes. Pulse shows time on task, accuracy by topic, and predicted score. Parent and teacher see the same page.
  4. School-ready on day one. Guardian consent, role-based access, class rollouts, and export controls baked in.
  5. Short sentences. Honest tone.No streaks designed to hijack you. No dark patterns. No ads sold against a student's study data.

Who gets what

Students:
  1. A daily plan tagged to your board. A drill bank that adapts after every answer. A coach you can book when the week gets heavy.
  2. Voice when reading is too much. Audio pods for the commute. Pulse that shows where the hour went.
  3. A single wallet across four products. Spend only on what you use.
Parents:
  1. A weekly report with topic accuracy, time on task, and the next best step. Not a marks screenshot.
  2. Visibility on coach bookings and wallet balance. No surprise bills.
  3. A verified Aura coach, on demand, when the household needs a third voice in the room.
Schools:
  1. A free, one-hour AI literacy workshop for secondary students. Teachers walk out with a lesson plan and a copy of the deck.
  2. Flow rollout at the class or section level, with cohort dashboards and export-ready reports.
  3. Guardian consent, PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) Malaysia compliant, and admin tools that do not need a vendor on call.

How we build

  • Pulled from classrooms. Every feature we ship has passed through a school pilot before it enters the main build.
  • Instrumented from the start. We log what works and what does not. The drill engine gets smarter because the log is honest, not because a roadmap says so.
  • Backed by a rule engine, not a black box. Coach-copilot ranks the next best action for a student using a rule engine over millions of anonymised drill events, not an opaque recommendation.
  • Safety first for minors. Age-aware defaults, guardian consent flows, and content filters reviewed against the school advisory board.

Safeguards and privacy

  • PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) Malaysia compliant. Study data builds your personal mastery map and nothing else.
  • Never sold. Never used to train a public model. No interest- based ads to students.
  • Age-appropriate defaults and clear consent for every minor account.
  • Strong encryption at rest and in transit. Parent or school can reset personalisation for a cohort in one click.

Privacy is a design decision, not a footer clause.
