The vocabulary worksheet is correct. The words are familiar on the page. Then someone asks a simple question aloud, and the learner hesitates. Recognising a phrase and producing it in conversation are different tasks.
Vibe Lingo provides guided language lessons and speaking practice: hear a phrase, say it aloud and review pronunciation feedback. Use that practice as preparation for communication, not as a replacement for people.
Choose a reason to speak
Start with a small, relevant goal: introducing yourself, asking for an item or describing today's activity. In a multilingual household, choose a situation where the learner will actually use the language.
Check the languages and goals currently available in the app. Do not assume every dialect, proficiency level or school curriculum is supported simply because a language is listed.
Use the Lingo practice loop
Gyanis Vibe Lingo is built around hearing and saying phrases, with feedback on pronunciation. Find a quiet enough space, check the microphone and make sure the learner understands the phrase's meaning before repeating it.
- Listen to the phrase.
- Say it aloud at a comfortable pace.
- Review the feedback without treating it as a verdict.
- Try the relevant sound or phrase again.
- Use the phrase in a short exchange away from the app.
Speech-recognition feedback can be imperfect. Background noise, microphone quality and pronunciation variation can affect the result. If the feedback seems inconsistent, check the recording conditions and ask a knowledgeable speaker or teacher.
Keep the goal intelligibility and participation
Do not turn every conversation into a correction exercise. Allow the learner to finish an idea, then choose a useful point to practise. An accent is not itself a failure to communicate.
For an illustrative home activity, practise a request in Lingo, then use it during a shared cooking or role-play task. Add an unexpected follow-up question so the exchange involves listening as well as repetition.
Connect practice with the wider learning plan
Keep useful phrases and personal examples in Flow MoodBoard, where available. A small Gameplan task can make room for regular practice without filling the whole day with screens.
Vibe's Ask an Expert is a separate service for paid human sessions, subject to relevant expert availability. Lingo itself should not be described as a guaranteed live conversation with a human teacher.
Common questions
Can an app make a learner fluent by itself?
No fluency guarantee is made here. Learners need varied listening, speaking, reading and other appropriate learning experiences, including real interaction.
What if my child dislikes being scored?
Focus on one useful phrase and an enjoyable exchange. Use feedback as optional information to discuss, rather than making the number the goal.
Try one phrase that matters tomorrow. Practise it, then give it a real place in the day.
