Editorial Policy

Gyanis publishes study guides, exam preparation material, and mental wellbeing content across five countries. This page explains how we source, write, review, fact-check, and update that content.

Who writes our content

Exam content is written or reviewed by subject specialists with teaching or exam-grading experience. Mental wellbeing content under the Aura brand is reviewed by a psychologist registered with the country-specific regulator (RCI in India, HCPC in the United Kingdom, the Malaysian Board of Counsellors, DHA or DOH in the UAE, and the Kenya Counselling Association in Kenya). Every article has a visible author byline and, where applicable, a reviewer byline.

Fact-checking standards

• Exam facts (syllabus weightings, exam dates, grade boundaries) are verified against the official exam board publication before release.
• Statistics are sourced from named bodies (NTA, CBSE, Ofqual, MOE, KNEC) with the year cited inline.
• Mental health claims follow the American Psychological Association style guide and are cross-referenced with at least one peer-reviewed source.
• Product claims about Flow, Aura, Vibe, or OneByZero are restricted to features that have shipped to users.

Editorial independence

Gyanis does not sell editorial placement. We do not accept payment in exchange for coverage in our blog or study guides. Where we recommend third-party tools, the recommendation reflects our honest assessment; affiliate relationships, if any, are disclosed at the top of the article.

How content is updated

Exam and syllabus content is reviewed at least once per exam cycle. Evergreen guides carry a Last updated timestamp; material changes trigger a re-review by a subject specialist. Minor edits (typos, link fixes) do not reset the timestamp.
