What are UCAS points?
The UCAS Tariff is the points system the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service uses to compare qualifications for university entry. Many universities quote offers in grades, not points. The Tariff stays useful for a mixed portfolio: three A-Levels plus an EPQ plus an ABRSM grade-5 distinction, for example. One number that compares across formats.
