About Gyanis: the AI study OS

We built Gyanis for the student preparing for Matric, Intermediate, MDCAT & O/A Levels. The product covers four things a student actually does in a week: study, practice, ask for help, and book a coach. Each of those sits inside one of four pillars, tied to one credit balance.
Headquartered in Sharjah, UAE with operations serving Pakistani students. We run pilots and free AI literacy workshops in schools, then refine the product based on what classrooms told us did not work.

Our Mission
Build a study OS that answers four questions for a student every day: what do I study now, where did I slip yesterday, who do I talk to when I am stuck, and what does my progress look like on paper. No guessing. No parallel apps.
Flow. The study workspace.
Flow is the home screen. Every study tool in one layout. Free to start with a 7-day trial; a paid plan carries the full toolkit.
What is inside:
- Chat. Ask a doubt, paste a problem, or request a worked example. Answers pitched at your class, pulled from the FBISE, BISE, AKU-EB, Cambridge syllabus.
- Mindmap. A visual tree of any topic, generated in under ten seconds. Each node carries a short note, key points, and examples you can skim the night before.
- Drill. MCQs tagged by syllabus, class, subject, unit, and topic. Difficulty adjusts after every answer, per topic, and a fast correct answer moves you up faster than a slow one. Three wrong in a row on a topic and the next set pulls from its prerequisites.
- Gameplan.Every topic carries one of four labels: Mission, Battle, Conquered, or Replay. A topic's assessment stays locked until you start its learning work, and the topic is Conquered only once its drill and its assessment chat both pass.
- Moodboard. Pin formulas, tricky questions, and mnemonics in one place. Review on the bus without opening a chapter.
- Pulse. Time on task by day, accuracy by topic, predicted score against your target. The same view is shared with your parent and your teacher.
A week inside Flow:
Day 3. The student stops asking the group chat and starts drilling the topic they got wrong on Monday.
Day 5. Gameplan moves one topic from Mission to Battle and another from Battle to Conquered.
Day 7. Pulse shows where the hour went and where it did not. Parent and teacher see the same page.
Class-level rollouts, guardian consent built in, and one dashboard per cohort. Teachers stop building worksheets and start teaching.
Aura. A coach you can book by name.
When a student needs a human, Aura is a directory of accredited coaches they can book in a few taps. Per-session pricing, quoted before confirm.
- Directory. Filter by specialisation, language, and availability. Read a short profile before you book.
- Session.A video appointment. The coach's notes stay private to the coach. What the student sees is a summary and an action plan drawn from those notes, with a separate version for a parent of a minor. Session length and GC price are set by each coach.
- Safeguards. Parental visibility for minors, school-friendly workflows, clear session boundaries.
- Credibility. Pakistan has no statutory register for counsellors, so Gyanis does not claim one. Every Aura Coach serving Pakistan is credential-verified by Gyanis: identity, a qualification in counselling or psychology, and experience with students are checked before the profile goes live.
Transparent pricing, a named coach, and a takeaway that tells the student what to try before the next session.
Vibe. Ask an Expert when a human teacher would help most.
Vibe today is Ask an Expert and Lingo. Ask an Expert is a video session with a verified subject teacher, priced per session and set by the student before they confirm. Every charge shows up in the wallet history.
- Ask an Expert. Say what you are stuck on, set a session price, and raise your hand. The request goes out live and the first verified expert to accept joins the call. GC is held from acceptance until the session ends and comes straight back if nobody accepts. When the call is transcribed, the student gets a short recap and key takeaways afterwards.
- Lingo. Speak-first language practice with instant pronunciation feedback. Hindi, Tamil, French, Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish and more.
- Pulse.Session history, ratings, and spend land in the student's Vibe Pulse view, so the next request starts from a record instead of memory.
- Buddy. A 60-second pep talk, a focus check-in, a short reset before a practice test.
- Tutor.Talk through a tough topic out loud. The voice tutor adapts to the student's pace.
- Listen. Screen-free audio lessons for the commute or the walk after dinner.
- Pods. Bite-sized audio on concepts and exam tactics, built in English.
A real human teacher, on demand, with a clear price. Less friction than scrolling threads, more momentum than another textbook.
One wallet across everything.
Gyanis Credits (GC) is one balance for Flow, Vibe, Aura, and OneByZero. You load once, and the same credits buy a Flow subscription, an expert session on Vibe, a coach session on Aura, or an item on OneByZero.
- Flow is free to start with a 7-day trial; paid plans cover the full toolkit. Vibe Ask an Expert is priced per session and set by the student. Aura is per session, with length and GC price set by each coach. Voice tutoring is on the 2026 roadmap.
- OneByZero takes a 15% platform commission on each sale, so sellers keep 85%. Earnings settle to the seller's GC wallet after delivery is confirmed. Claim windows are on the refund policy page.
- Earn credits through referrals and OneByZero sales. No forced subscriptions.
- Parent visibility on balance and spend, without micromanagement.

How we build
- Pulled from classrooms. Every feature we ship has passed through a school pilot before it enters the main build.
- Instrumented from the start. We log what works and what does not. The drill engine gets smarter because the log is honest, not because a roadmap says so.
- Rules first, model second.The next action on a student's dashboard is picked from a short list that rules build from the student's own activity. Gyanis AI chooses from that list; it never invents one.
- Safety first for minors. Age-aware defaults, guardian consent flows, and content filters reviewed with the teachers in our school pilots.
Safeguards and privacy
- Gyanis global privacy standard compliant. Study data builds your personal mastery map and nothing else.
- Never sold. Never used to train a public model. No interest- based ads to students.
- Age-appropriate defaults and clear consent for every minor account.
- Strong encryption at rest and in transit. Personalisation signals can be reset from settings where available.
Privacy is a design decision, not a footer clause.
